At ECFG, we are proud of our Eindhoven roots. The Brainport region is a breeding ground for innovation and entrepreneurship, but to manage this growth effectively, collaboration is essential. That is why we have joined the Brainport Partner Fund.

What is the Brainport Partner Fund?

The Brainport Partner Fund is a collaboration between businesses and the government, aimed at supporting sustainable and balanced growth in the region. The fund focuses on four themes that are crucial for the future of Brainport:

✅ Accessibility – Investments in infrastructure and mobility.
✅ Affordable housing – Acceleration of housing projects.

Learning from failures

An inspiring afternoon with Chief Failure Officer Paul Iske

At ECFG, we believe in the power of innovation—and that includes having the courage to experiment and sometimes fail.

Last week, our investment community gathered for an inspiring lecture by Paul Iske, Chief Failure Officer at the Institute for Brilliant Failures. A title that certainly grabs attention—and rightfully so!

With humor and engaging storytelling, Paul guided us through the value of failures. Because let’s be honest: not everything always goes as planned. But that’s exactly where the greatest learning moments and innovation opportunities arise.

With a great turnout, a beautiful venue at i-team Global, and an engaged and enthusiastic group of participants, the afternoon was filled with insights and inspiring stories. And, as with any good event, we wrapped up with a networking drink that lasted just a little longer than expected 😉. New connections were made, ideas were exchanged, and who knows what collaborations may emerge from this.
